FOOTBALL TRIALS provides an opportunity for players to develop and be seen by scouts.

Becoming a football player is a career that many people dream of... but not many people get an opportunity to display their talent in the right environment.

Whether at professional or semi-professional level, football can be an enjoyable and satisfying career.

How Football Trials can help

FOOTBALL TRIALS provide a fair analysis of you as a player. The three stage model is designed to find and present the highest quality of players. You will be assessed and progress to the next stage if passable or advised on improvement if necessary.

Stage 1 is the initial assessment. Coaches assess players ability.

Stage 2 is when players are granted membership and are analysed within 11 - aside game scenarios.

Stage 3 is a showcase game presenting players to scouts.

During Stages 1 and 2 there will be numerous scouts in attendance.

How it works

Stage 1

Players will be assessed on the following in a two hour session:
Passing
Shooting
Skills test
Football fitness
Agility
Speed
Ball control
Small side games

Players successful at Stage 1 will be invited back and granted membership for Stage 2 of the programme.

Stage 2

The second stage is a two day coaching session which involves 11 - aside game-related scenarios.  Players will be taking part in a number of specific drills: playing 11 - aside games where coaches will be assessing and grading individuals in all areas. Successful players will be invited to attend Stage 3 of our programme. Unsuccessful players are welcome to re-enter Stage 2 of our programme without having to re-attend Stage 1.

Scouts are in regular attendance.

Players have to have successfully compleated Stage 1 of the program before entering Stage 2.

Stage 2 fee: £55

Stage 3

The final stage is a showcase game; individuals will play in an 11 - aside game in front of numerous scouts from various professional clubs.

This is a chance to be seen and a stepping stone to becoming a professional football player; performance is key. Each player will play a minimum of 45 minutes.

In preparation for the showcase game, players will need to attend two coaching sessions which will be vital to prepare them mentally, physically and technically for the showcase opportunity.

The coaching sessions will be two hours long. Should you be successful in the showcase game we will notify you. However, unsuccessful players are able to re-enter Stage 3 of our programme.

Again players have to have compleated Stage 2 of the program before entering Stage 3.

Stage 3 fee: £75

All assessments are held at first class venues across the country.
